Trump Drags MTG on Truth Social After She Blames Him for Threats

Washington — President Donald Trump lashed out at Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene on Monday after she told CBS’ 60 Minutes that he has abandoned his base and fueled threats against her family.

Trump called Greene “washed up,” a “low IQ traitor,” and claimed she “went bad” only because she felt “jilted.” Greene, who is resigning from Congress, said Trump’s attacks led to bomb threats against her home and direct death threats toward her son.

Greene told 60 Minutes she had informed Trump and Sen. JD Vance about the threats, saying Trump’s reply “wasn’t very nice.” She denied that Trump pushed her out of office but said Republicans fear crossing him.

The clash marks a dramatic break between Trump and one of his formerly most loyal allies.
